Chainbook tracks stablecoin transactions across two blockchain networks. Support is focused on token transfers — the transaction type that matters for payment tracking and accounting.

What Chainbook Tracks

When you add an asset, you pick its network and token explicitly — each asset tracks one token on one network.

Internal Transfers

Chainbook automatically classifies transfers between your own tracked assets as Internal Transfers, so moving funds between your own addresses doesn’t distort your income and expense totals. This is a Chainbook-side classification of regular token transfers — not blockchain-level “internal transactions”.

Address Formats

Addresses are validated for the correct format when you add them. A single wallet can hold assets on different networks — you don’t need separate wallets per network.

Data Sources & Syncing

Transaction data is fetched from public blockchain explorers:

• TronScan API for TRON transaction history
• Etherscan API for Ethereum transaction history

Sync Limits

• Chainbook imports up to 10,000 transactions per wallet. When a wallet reaches this limit, syncing for it is paused and its assets show a “syncing paused” status.
• Explorer API rate limits are throttled automatically; large initial imports are processed in the background and may take longer.
